Life Cycles, Alan Alda and Mash

Now we are going to continue our exploration of customary examples of the important mid-life 'Year of Revolution' and the world of entertainment. This is a good field to use, because most habitancy will have heard of the cases. One of the most customary and loved Tv. Shows was M.A.S.H. It had an 11year run initially from 1972 to 1981, but has been roughly continuously repeated since then. The characters are lovable and the theme of humor in adversity has universal appeal.

In terms of the life and vocation of one of it's main stars, Alan Alda it represents what he is most intimately identified with. If you asked a option of habitancy what they think of when they hear the name Alan Alda, they will tell you Major 'Hawkeye' Pierce. Sure Alan has done many other things in his long and remarkable career, but none more so than this. One day when his obituary gets written, they will begin with:- 'the star of M.A.S.H.' and print a 'Hawkeye' photo alongside. In other words, there is no inquire of the central prominence of the series in his life.

Now with 'Life Cycles' you have a brand new theory, that says we get a 'Year of Revolution' every 12 years in our life. This fundamentally changes things and ushers in a new era, set to last for the rest of the cycle. It just so happens that in many lives it is the major mid-life 'Year of Revolution' of age 36, that commences what I term a "Bursting on the Scene" moment. In our own cut off ways we administrate to grab centre stage. It is not always universal, because sometimes the age of 24 is celebrated and in some cases, such as Susan Boyle, the age of 48. However in Alan Alda's case there is no inquire that the commencement of the screening of the M.A.S.H. Series occurred when he was 36. There is also no inquire of the extensive point of this in his life.

Interesting trivia includes the fact that Alan was the only actor to appear in all 251 episodes and along with Jamie Farr, were the only actors to do an actual tour of duty in Korea, after the end of the war. Keep in mind that with 'Life Cycles' you just keep getting better and better examples. I'll be back so keep posted. In case you think this all mere co-incidence, I guarantee to make you think again. See all my posts for the story so far.
